Bomfunk MC's formed in Helsinki, Finland in 1998, bringing breakbeat and big beat electronic music to European audiences. The group was led by DJ and producer Gismo and rapper B.O.W., creating an energetic fusion of hip-hop, funk, and electronic dance music. Their debut album "In Stereo" achieved major commercial success across Europe, with "Freestyler" becoming a chart-topping hit in multiple countries in 1999 and 2000.
