Eric Clapton
Eric Clapton built his reputation through the Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek and the Dominos before launching a solo career that spanned blues, rock, and acoustic balladry. His 1992 MTV Unplugged performance of 'Tears in Heaven' and the rearranged 'Layla' earned six Grammy Awards and reintroduced him to a new generation. As one of the few artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times, he remains synonymous with electric blues guitar.
