Hot Chip

Hot Chip formed in London in 2000 when childhood friends Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard began collaborating on electronic music. The group developed a distinctive sound combining indie sensibilities with dance music, characterized by Taylor's warm vocals over synthesizer-driven arrangements. Their 2006 album The Warning established them as a major force in British electronic pop, followed by Made in the Dark in 2008, which further expanded their melodic approach to club-ready production.
