Leonard Cohen
Leonard Cohen began as a published poet and novelist in Montreal before releasing his debut album "Songs of Leonard Cohen" in 1967 at age 33. His baritone voice and literary lyrics made songs like "Suzanne" and "So Long, Marianne" enduring standards. Though "Hallelujah" received little attention when first released in 1984, it later became one of the most covered songs in modern music after numerous artists recorded their own versions.
