Michael Penn

Michael Penn launched his solo career in 1989 with the album "March," following his time playing in the Los Angeles band Doll Congress. The brother of actor Sean Penn, Michael crafted intelligent, Beatles-influenced pop-rock with "No Myth" becoming a major radio hit. He continued releasing critically praised albums throughout the 1990s and later became a successful film composer, scoring movies including "Boogie Nights" and "Magnolia."
