INXS

INXS formed in Sydney, Australia in 1977, with frontman Michael Hutchence leading the six-piece band through their rise in the 1980s. They broke through internationally with "The Swing" (1984) and reached their commercial peak with "Kick" (1987), which featured multiple hit singles including "Need You Tonight" and "Never Tear Us Apart." The band blended new wave, rock, and funk elements into their distinctive sound throughout their career.
