Mott The Hoople
Mott the Hoople formed in Herefordshire, England in 1969, playing a blend of rock and roll, glam, and Dylan-influenced songwriting. The band found their biggest success with "All the Young Dudes," written and produced by David Bowie in 1972. Fronted by Ian Hunter, Mott the Hoople influenced the development of punk and alternative rock before splitting in 1974.
