Night Ranger
Night Ranger formed in San Francisco in 1979, developing a radio-friendly hard rock sound that combined guitar-driven arrangements with strong vocal harmonies. The band achieved commercial success with their 1983 album "Midnight Madness," which spawned the power ballad "Sister Christian" and the rock anthem "(You Can) Still Rock in America." Night Ranger sold millions of albums during the 1980s and featured dual lead guitarists Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson.
