Robert Palmer
Robert Palmer began his solo career in the early 1970s after performing with several British blues and rock bands. The Yorkshire-born singer blended rock, pop, soul, and reggae influences throughout his work, achieving his greatest commercial success in the 1980s. His album "Riptide" (1985) included "Addicted to Love," followed by "Simply Irresistible" from "Heavy Nova" (1988), both becoming major international hits.
