Status Quo

2 videos the 70s

Status Quo formed in London in 1962, initially as The Spectres, before adopting their current name in 1967. The band shifted from psychedelic pop to a stripped-down boogie rock sound in the early 1970s, delivering a string of albums including "Quo" and "On the Level." Their energetic, three-chord rock approach made them one of Britain's most successful rock acts, with Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt's twin guitar attack becoming their trademark.
