The Avalanches

The Avalanches formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1997, creating music primarily through sampling and turntablism. Their debut album "Since I Left You," released in 2000, reportedly used thousands of samples woven into a cohesive plunderphonics masterpiece. After a 16-year gap, the group returned with "Wildflower" in 2016, maintaining their intricate sample-based production approach.
