The Darkness
The Darkness formed in Lowestoft, England in 2000, playing flamboyant hard rock inspired by 1970s glam and arena rock. Their 2003 debut album "Permission to Land" topped the UK charts and sold millions, driven by hits like "I Believe in a Thing Called Love." Fronted by Justin Hawkins with his distinctive falsetto vocals, the band brought theatrical rock back to mainstream radio.
