The Rapture

The Rapture formed in New York City in 1998, becoming central figures in the post-punk revival and dance-punk movement of the early 2000s. The band combined punk energy with disco and funk elements, featuring the production work of the DFA team. Their 2003 album Echoes included "House of Jealous Lovers," which established their sound mixing live instrumentation with dance floor sensibilities.
