Womack & Womack
Womack & Womack was the husband-and-wife duo of Cecil Womack and Linda Womack, who began recording together in the early 1980s. Both came from soul music royalty—Cecil was part of the Womack family of musicians, and Linda was the daughter of Sam Cooke. Their 1988 album "Conscience" featured "Teardrops," which became a major international hit and showcased their sophisticated blend of soul, funk, and pop.
