At My Most Beautiful
R.E.M.'s "At My Most Beautiful," written by Peter Buck, Mike Mills, and Michael Stipe, was deliberately fashioned to resemble the Beach Boys. The piano-driven ballad from their 1998 album Up became the band's first straightforward love song, with Stipe aiming for his most romantic lyrics.
