Written by Beyonce, Rob Fusari, Falonte Moore, and Stevie Nicks, "Bootylicious" was released as the second single from Destiny's Child's third album Survivor on May 22, 2001, and became the group's fourth and final Billboard Hot 100 number-one single. The song contains a prominent sample from Stevie Nicks' "Edge of Seventeen" and popularized the slang term "bootylicious" so widely that it was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2004 under the definition "(of a woman) sexually attractive."
