Written by Andre Merritt, Chris Brown, Brian Kennedy, and Rob. A! with production by Kennedy, "Disturbia" was released June 17, 2008, as the second single from Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. The uptempo dance-pop song about depression and anxiety topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, became Rihanna's fourth number-one single overall, and reached number one in Belgium and New Zealand. The music video, directed by Anthony Mandler, portrays Rihanna in various locations including a prison cell and gas chamber.
