Written by Vincent Herbert, Mary Brown, Beyonce, Wyclef Jean, Samuel Barnes, and Rob Fusari for the group's 1998 self-titled debut album, the song features a rapped verse by Wyclef Jean and samples the Spiderman animated series theme song. It peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 in December 1997 and became the group's breakthrough single. Rob Hardy directed the accompanying music video, which features the four original members — Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett.
