M.C. Hammer - Pumps and a Bump

Pumps and a Bump

Co-written and co-produced by Deuce Deuce and MC Hammer, this February 1994 single marked a departure from Hammer's previous pop image and sampled George Clinton's 1982 "Atomic Dog". The first single from The Funky Headhunter, it peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 3 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, becoming the final Top 40 hit of Hammer's career.
