Released on 5 April 1993 as the lead single from Republic, this track was New Order's first release on CentreDate Co Ltd following Factory Records' collapse. Written by Gillian Gilbert, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris, Bernard Sumner and producer Stephen Hague, it reached number 28 on the US Billboard Hot 100, the band's highest placement on that chart. Peter Care directed the music video in Rome, with production costs exceeding £200,000.
