Shake, shake, shake

Released in 1976 from the album Part 3, this song became KC and the Sunshine Band's third number-one hit on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Soul Singles chart. According to KC, the song was meant to inspire people to get active and have a good time, though some interpreted the lyrics as having sexual connotations; its B-side "Boogie Shoes" later became a hit after appearing on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
