Originally the B-side to Yazoo's 1982 debut single "Only You" in the UK, this Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet composition became the band's first number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, holding that position for four weeks. The most well-known version is the U.S. 12-inch remix by François Kevorkian, which was included on the American release of Upstairs at Eric's and returned to number one on the dance chart again in 1999 following new remixes.
