Written by DMX, DJ Shok, and sampling Grover Washington Jr.'s "Moonstreams" from the 1975 album Feel So Good, this song was released as the first single from DMX's second album Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood (1998). It peaked at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart and number 60 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and includes background vocals from future American Idol contestant Tamyra Gray.
