Busta Rhymes launched his solo career in 1996 after time with Leaders of the New School, bringing an explosive, rapid-fire delivery and energetic performance style to hip-hop. His debut album "The Coming" and follow-ups "When Disaster Strikes" (1997) and "Extinction Level Event" (1998) established him as a major force in late-1990s rap. Busta continued releasing successful albums into the 2000s, collaborating with various producers and artists while maintaining his distinctive, aggressive flow. He has released numerous albums spanning three decades in hip-hop.
