Deee-Lite
Deee-Lite was a New York City-based dance music trio formed in 1986, consisting of vocalist Lady Miss Kier, DJ Dmitry, and DJ Towa Tei. Their 1990 debut album "World Clique" blended house music, funk, and psychedelic influences, producing the international hit "Groove Is in the Heart." The song featured bassist Bootsy Collins and saxophone by Maceo Parker, becoming one of the most distinctive dance tracks of the early 1990s.
