Eddie Holman is an American soul singer from Norfolk, Virginia who recorded throughout the 1960s and 1970s. His 1969 single 'Hey There Lonely Girl'—a reworked version of Ruby and the Romantics' 'Hey There Lonely Boy'—became his biggest hit, featuring his distinctive falsetto vocals. Holman continued performing and recording soul and gospel music for decades, maintaining a loyal following in the Philadelphia soul scene.
