Fugazi

Fugazi formed in Washington, D.C. in 1987 from members of hardcore bands including Minor Threat and Rites of Spring. The band created an intense, angular post-hardcore sound while maintaining strict DIY ethics including affordable concert tickets and all-ages shows. Fugazi released seven studio albums on Dischord Records and became hugely influential in underground rock circles before going on hiatus in 2003.
