Geto Boys

Geto Boys formed in Houston, Texas in the late 1980s, with members Scarface, Willie D, and Bushwick Bill creating stark, reality-based gangsta rap. Their 1991 album "We Can't Be Stopped" included "Mind Playing Tricks on Me," which sampled Isaac Hayes and became one of Southern hip-hop's most influential tracks. The group's unflinching lyrical content and Scarface's storytelling abilities helped establish Houston as a major force in rap music.
