Modern Talking

Modern Talking was a German pop duo formed in Berlin in 1984 by producer Dieter Bohlen and vocalist Thomas Anders. Their synth-driven Europop sound produced major hits including "You're My Heart, You're My Soul," "Cheri Cheri Lady," and "Brother Louie," achieving enormous commercial success across Europe and Asia. The duo split in 1987, reunited in 1998, and disbanded again in 2003.
