Released as the second single from Pet Shop Boys' Actually album on 10 August 1987, this duet with Dusty Springfield helped revive her career and sparked renewed interest in her music. Written by Chris Lowe, Neil Tennant, and Allee Willis, the song became a commercial success in both the UK and North America. The collaboration led Pet Shop Boys to write and produce two more singles for Springfield's 1990 album Reputation.
